Bhojpuri actor Akshara Singh has again spoken about former partner Pawan Singh during a recent podcast, without naming Pawan Singh directly. Akshara Singh said the old chapter has dragged on for years and questioned why people still link the two, while Pawan Singh continues public appearances with many women.

Recalling sustained attention on that relationship, Akshara Singh said, "Years have passed since that. I also want to build my life. I can't stay stuck in one place. He is moving around with girls in ten places, no one is asking him any questions. His character is in front of everyone. No one is letting me live peacefully. Is it just because I am a girl? Is this my crime?" Akshara Singh stressed that this constant scrutiny affects personal peace.

During the same podcast, Akshara Singh faced a direct question about whether any soft corner remained for Pawan Singh. The host raised the issue again, prompting an immediate reply from Akshara Singh, who shut down speculation and said, "Who is he?" The blunt response signalled that Akshara Singh does not wish to revisit that phase.

Akshara Singh then addressed repeated media queries about Pawan Singh. Akshara Singh explained that every interview eventually turns towards that past relationship. Akshara Singh said, "Now people will say that they bring up the same topic every time. What should I do, I am asked every time like you asked just now. If I go somewhere else, the same question will be asked again. It is a very old story, I had once said everything in a podcast. I had said then that I would not talk about this topic again and again. That was my past."

The podcast also revisited a separate controversy involving Pawan Singh and Haryanvi performer Anjali Raghav about six months earlier. A stage video had shown Pawan Singh holding the waist of the Haryanvi actress, which drew sharp criticism. After that incident, the Haryanvi actress reportedly expressed regret about working in Bhojpuri cinema.

Asked about the video, Akshara Singh criticised how the situation was handled on stage. Akshara Singh said, "It was the actress's mistake that day. If someone touches you, you should react immediately. If I were in Anjali Radhav's place, I would have picked her up and thrown her away. In a second, he (Pawan Singh) would have been seen down." Akshara Singh underlined the need for an instant response to unwanted contact.

Akshara Singh did not restrict comments to Pawan Singh and also mentioned Khesari Lal Yadav's conduct towards Kajal. Akshara Singh alleged that Khesari had used very crude language for Kajal in an interview and reminded that Khesari has a family. Akshara Singh questioned how any public figure could insult another woman, speak such words in front of everyone, enter politics, and still avoid correcting mistakes, while adding that using obscene terms for any girl in public is wrong, whether a relationship existed or not.
