Abhishek Malhan-Jiya Shankar Engagement Rumors: Days after Jiya Shankar (Jiyaa Shankar, YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Fukra Insaan aka Abhishek Malhan broke his silence over their recent engagement rumors that shook their fandoms. It all started with an entertainment portal claiming that Abhishek Malhan and Jiya Shankar were all set to get engaged.

Fukra Insaan expressed his frustration over the repeated "pattern" of linking his name with his ex-friend Jiya Shankar. For those unversed, both Abhishek and Jiya were in Bigg Boss OTT 2 and formed a close friendship on the show. Even though their bond faded shortly after the show ended, dating rumours about the two continued to resurface from time to time, despite repeated denials.

A couple of days ago, Jiya Shankar confirmed dating someone as she shared a photo with a mystery man from her New Year's celebrations while subtly dismissing the engagement buzz with Fukra Insaan.

And now, days after Jiyaa's reaction, Abhishek Malhan, too, broke his silence on the same. Taking to his Instagram handle, Malhan shared a strong note, expressing his disappointment and anger over the repeated link-up rumors with her.

Putting an end on the engagement buzz, the YouTuber penned a note that read, "I want to make one thing very clear-please stop linking my name with anyone. I was part of a show three years ago, and that chapter ended there. My choices and stance were made very clear back then, and nothing has changed since."

"What's disappointing is that this has become a pattern. Almost every year, out of nowhere, the same narratives resurface without any reason or context. Even I can see it, and I believe the audience is smart enough to notice this pattern too. I don't entertain or participate in such games, assumptions, or unnecessary speculation. I prefer focusing on my work and moving forward positively. I request everyone to respect that and let things rest," he concluded.

Born on April 17, 1995, Jiya Shankar is currently 30 years old. Meanwhile, Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, was born on May 24, 1998, and will turn 28 later this year. That makes their age difference close to three years between the former friends.
