IPL 2026: Sonal Chauhan Gives A Warm Shoutout To "Mumbai Cha Raja" Rohit Sharma

On May 4, the nation celebrated Hitman Rohit Sharma's return to the ground during Mumbai Indians Vs Lucknow Super Giants' clash in the ongoing IPL season. The country celebrated, and so did Sonal Chauhan, who frequently visits the stadiums to witness the live magic of Mumbai Indians.

Chauhan took to her social media handle to share a click of Rohit Sharma scoring a thunderous 84 runs in 44 balls. Celebrating Sharma's anticipated comeback, the actress wrote, "The energy we were missing. And this is after an injury. What a man! Truly, Mumbai Cha Raja. Wish he had come back earlier!"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonal Chauhan is gearing up for her Punjabi debut 'Shera', co-starring Parmish Verma. Directed by Savio Sanddhu, the film releases in theatres on May 15. In addition to this, Sonal will also be seen in the much-awaited Mirzapur: The Movie, fulfilling a pivotal character that adds further intrigue to the film's intense world. The film has locked a theatrical release date and will explode on the big screens on September 4.

That's not all for Sonal. Industry buzz also suggests that the actress may have already started shooting for a new project in Bhopal. Whether it's a big screen project or an OTT release is yet to be known.
