She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital following the attack, but doctors declared her dead shortly after arrival. The shocking killing of YouTuber and blogger Nancy Grewal continues to spark outrage and grief among her followers, with many demanding swift justice. The brutal attack has quickly become a widely discussed case online, leaving the influencer community deeply shaken.

According to a report by Windsor Star, police intensified their investigation soon after the incident. By the morning of March 4, authorities had secured two houses on the street where Grewal was fatally attacked. Investigators placed several evidence markers along a concrete pathway and on the stairs leading to the entrance of one of the properties. The report also stated that officers cordoned off a wooded area nearly a kilometre away with yellow police tape as part of the ongoing probe.

Nancy Grewal's death was later confirmed on Instagram by her sister, Ali, who shared the heartbreaking news with followers. Speaking to PTI, Grewal's mother Chhinder alleged that certain hardliners living in Windsor could be behind the murder. She claimed locals might know the truth but are too frightened to speak out.

Recalling the horrifying details of her daughter's final moments, Chhinder revealed that Nancy was stabbed 18 times in the stomach. She said, "Chaku mare the. 18 chaku maare, pora pet phaad diya ander ander. Reiki kiti se unanu pata si. (They stabbed her with knife 18 times on the stomach. The people had done reiki of the year and knew that the place had no camera.)"

Nancy Grewal Murder Case: Why Was The YouTuber Killed?

While the exact motive behind Nancy Grewal's murder is still under investigation, her family believes her outspoken views may have played a role. The Canadian-based YouTuber was known for openly criticizing the Khalistan movement and often spoke about issues related to India-Canada relations, which reportedly led to threats over the past few months.

Speaking from Deol Nagar in Jalandhar, as per The Indian Express, her mother Shinderpal Kaur claimed Nancy had informed Canadian police about the threats earlier. She also alleged that Grewal's house in Windsor was set on fire a few months ago, an incident the family suspects was connected to her activism.

Kaur further claimed that Nancy had mentioned a few individuals she believed were behind the threats and even named three people, including a man based in Windsor. She also recalled an earlier incident when a masked man allegedly tried to enter Nancy's house, but fled after noticing CCTV cameras installed around the property.

Who Was Nancy Grewal?

Born on January 19, 1981, Nancy Grewal later moved to Canada after her marriage. Following her divorce, she began working as a caregiver while also building a presence on social media.

Apart from her job, Grewal was active online as a content creator and blogger, where she often shared her views and personal experiences. On Instagram, she had a growing audience and currently had around 14,000 followers.
