During the Instagram video, both Chandrika and Saifi speak directly to the camera about recent events. The Vada Pav Girl tells viewers, "Friends, I made a mistake, and I sincerely apologize for it. If you make a mistake, there's no shame in apologizing. The incident with the UK rider is real, and before that, people thought it was a controversy."

Saif then discusses the background, saying that earlier chats related to the UK rider had already been leaked online. Chandrika and Saif explain that they did not know Anurag was mentally disturbed or that Anurag would go live and attempt suicide. They stress that there was never any intention to hurt Anurag or anyone else.
