"A one-and-a-half–hour musical journey — an eclectic mix of Ghazal, Sufi, and Bollywood. After Jagjit Sahab, few have carried forward the simplicity and sweetness of his timeless Ghazals. In this mehfil, we revisited those fragile, beautiful emotions, with echoes of Hariharan Ji, Pankaj Udhas Ji, and Mehdi Hassan Saab to name a few. Alongside these, the evening saw soulful, up-tempo Sufi pieces — a celebration of trance, devotion, and energy. It is truly a journey from Raag Se Rang Tak — from the purity of classical to the colourful vibrance of contemporary sound, bringing together every shade of music in one evening.
The night closed with Bollywood favourites that sat alongside Ghazals and Sufi compositions, reflecting Vipin’s approach to programming. Whether performing a viral track, an introspective Ghazal or a spiritual Sufi song, Vipin’s range remained central to the Studio Theatre concert. It was an evening filled with Ghazals, Sufi tunes, and Bollywood hits — a night we will cherish forever!
