From early morning, several popular Bengali film stars were spotted at polling booths, proudly exercising their democratic right.

West Bengal Election 2026 Today (Phase 2): Tollywood Celebrities Cast Their Votes

The presence of Tollywood celebrities at polling booths added a touch of glamour to the otherwise intense political atmosphere. More importantly, it reinforced the message that every vote counts, regardless of status or fame.

Bengali celebrities, including Raj Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly, and Abir Chatterjee were among those who turned up to cast their votes. Dressed casually yet confidently, the stars patiently stood in queues like regular citizens, setting an example for their fans and followers.

After voting, Subhashree took to Instagram to share a selfie, proudly showing off their inked fingers and encouraging fans to participate in the democratic process.

Fan-favourite "Shona Da" Abir Chatterjee has also fulfilled his civic duty, casting his vote during Phase 2 of the elections.

3) Sohini Sarkar

Sohini Sarkar also stepped out to cast her vote, joining fellow Tollywood celebrities in taking part in Phase 2 of the elections. The actress proudly showed her inked finger, urging fans to do their bit.

Veteran actor Chiranjeet Chakraborty was spotted at the polling booth with his wife. However, he couldn't cast his vote due to a technical issue with the EVM and assured that he would return later to cast his vote.
