When an attempt falls short, the only honest thing to do is acknowledge it, apologise and do better. This is one of those moments for me."

Ending the statement, Virli added, "Regarding Instagram, I had deactivated my account around six months ago. I am genuinely sorry." Earlier reports said his Instagram was no longer active after the backlash. His clarification said the account had been deactivated months before the latest outrage.
