Sejal Pawar is a doctor who is reportedly associated with Mumbai's KEM Hospital. She faced public backlash after a clip from her appearance on Pranit More's show went viral. In the footage, she made remarks regarding the comparison of male cadavers' private parts.

Reddit users slammed Sejal for her remarks, mentioning that 'medical license should be cancelled.

One user commented, "In Pranit More's comedy show, a guy who thought he was sexually entitled just because he bought some girl ₹370 biryani, which they both ate. Sejal Pawar Issues Apology For Insensitive Remark

As the controversy over her remarks invited criticism from all corners, Sejal Pawar issued an apology on her Instagram handle. She restricted the comments section while sharing the statement on Instagram. Interestingly, she also stopped following the people whom she was following earlier on social media.

"I genuinely want to address a clip from a recent video that has been circulating. Having watched it back, I completely understand why people were upset by what I said. The topic is a sensitive one, and my comments came across in a way they shouldn't have. While there was never any intention to disrespect anyone, I recognize that impact matters more than intent," Sejal said in her statement.

She said that she is taking responsibility for her remark, adding that she never meant to disrespect anyone.

"I'm not here to justify what was said or explain it away. I take responsibility for it. Looking back, I can see how my words could be interpreted differently from what I meant," she stated.
