The ooohhs and aaahhs never cease when it comes to John Abraham. He's taken the world by storm. No one can escape his mischievous smile and long hair. Girls can't stop drooling over him and guys want to ape him in every way. He has everything in life any man can crave for- his beautiful girlfriend Bipasha Basu, his scorching hot looks, moolah , fame and not to forget his bikes. This handsome hunk has stolen the limelight , being the most handsome actor in Bollywood. He beat Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan this year making him the hottest actor present in the Indian film industry.

John Abraham was born in Mumbai. His father is Mujda, a Malayali Christian architect, born in Aluva, Kerala, while his mother is Hadia Parsi, a basketball teacher in her younger years. His original name is Farhan, but he was called John as per his father's wish. However John Abraham is a Christian. His parents eloped because of their religious differences; John Abraham's birth, however, mended his parents' strained relationship with their respective parents. Abraham has one younger brother, Alan.

Abraham first went to the Bombay Scottish School and later to Jai Hind College, where he held the position of captain in the football team. He started his career with a Media firm Called Time&Space Media Entertainment Promotions Ltd., which however closed down due to financial problems with ABCL. Later he worked for Enterprises-Nexus as a media planner, while being the captain of Mumbai football team.

In 1999, he, won the Gladrags Manhunt Contest and went to Singapore for Manhunt International, where he won a second place. He did Provogue ads and became India's best paid model.

In 2003, Abraham entered Bollywood with the controversial and successful movie Jism.It was during the filming of this when John and Bipasha have been seeing each other and continued to remain strong despite their ' breakup rumours.' Although Bipasha was more famous and successful during the shooting of Jism , he became the most sought after actor in no time. With some brilliant performances in movies like Jism, Kaal, Water, Zinda and Garam Masala, he has proved his mettle as an actor. Not only is he a great actor, but this model turned actor is a super hottie in his own right. He has a great sense of dressing and wears clothing appropriate to the occasion unlike his other male counterparts. He is the only actor in the Indian film industry who has a signature clothing line in his name from Wrangler Jeans. This bollywood hottie has not quit modeling. He has appeared in advertisements for Wrangler, Peta, Yamaha and All Clear. He is an animal lover and makes regular visits to the organisation Peta.

With controversial news stories and accidents, the Sagittarian sweetheart has stolen our hearts and we can't wait to watch hot John in KANK as a disc jockey.
