Neetu Chandra, the ravishingly sexy girl to enter Bollywood through Priyadarshan's Garam Masala (2005) has captured the keen interest of many with her bewitching performance to be flooded with substantial roles in their forthcoming movies.

Hailing from a middle class family in Patna, Neetu has been economically supporting herself since 12th standard. The deep-rooted yearning to become an actress compelled her to move to Mumbai from Delhi where she studied. Before plunging into the glamour world of Bollywood she undertook several modeling assignments and did various advertisements for brands like Mak Lubricant, Mint-O Fresh, IDEA Mobile, Stayfree, ICICI, Maska Chaska, Hero Honda and Cadbury. Neetu even got opportunities to perform in a video for Abhijeet and for Bombay Vikings. Neetu with her strong sports background is a basketball player as well as a martial artist. A black belt holder in Taekwando she played for Bihar in the last three National Games and represented India four times internationally, securing the Prime minister's award as well.

Neetu got her debut role when renowned director Priyadarshan selected her to play the role of an alluring airhostess in the comedy film Garam Masala, opposite Akshay Kumar and John Abraham along with veterans like Paresh Rawal. The simple and hardworking girl gave so a stunning performance that she was offered the role of a Kathiawadi street girl who sells gajras, mirror-work and embroidery on the footpath to earn a livelihood in Madhur Bhandarkar's The Signal, last of the trilogy alongside Konkona Sen. A perfectionist to the core Neetu took the pains to actually spend time with the street women to imbibe the body language and accent of a absconder from home in Saurashtra to Mumbai in search of work.

In the meantime, Neetu enthusiastic to act in different genres was lucky enough to act in a Telugu film Godavari after Garam Masala and has also signed a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual starring Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. Besides doing several South Indian films Neetu will also act in Anupam Kher's home production called Homeland as a journalist, truly a de-glamourized role, in the film based on Kashmiri Pandits.

An abiding optimist and trained kathak dancer, Neetu practises Yoga, enjoys cooking and idolizes her mother wishing fervently to be reborn as her. Deemed as the "newest sex bombshell of Bollywood", Neetu Chandra with her challengingly diverse roles in films is all geared to kindle our senses with her distinctive acting capabilities and sexually seductive kisses. The artist has a long way to tread to fulfil her dreams in life and the unyielding fighting spirit urges her forward towards new destinations in life.
