Anikha Surendran Biography

Anikha Surendran aka Baby Anikha is an Indian actress who primarly works in the Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu film industry. She is best known for the movies like Kadha Thudarunnu, Yennai Arindhaal and Viswasam. She has received many awards and accolades fro her performances in the big-screen. In 2013, Anikha won Kerala State Film Award for the best child artist for the anthology '5 Sundarikal'.

Career

She started her acting career as a child artist in 2010 through Sathayan Anthikkad's family entertainer Katha Thudarunnu. Later she appeared in the movie 'Bhavuttiyudea Naamathil' in 2012. In the movie, Anikha played the role of daughter of film maker and actor Shankar Ramakrishnan. She then appeared in the movie romantic anthology '5 Sundarikal' in 2015. For her performance in the movie, she received a Kerala State Film Award for the best child artist in the same year.

After acting in Malayalam cinema, she made her Tamil debut in 2015 with 'Yennai Arindhaal'. She had gained popularity among audience after her performance along with actor Ajith in the movie. Apart from this she also acted in the another Tamil movies which includes Naanum Rowdydhaan, Viswasam and Maamanithan.

In 2023, Anikha made her adult debut in the Telugu movie 'Butta Bomma'.The film was directed by Shouree Chandrashekhar T. Ramesh, is an official remake of 2020 Malayalam film 'Kappela. Following the year, she made her lead debut in Malayalam through the movie 'Oh My Darling'.
