Diganth Biography

Diganth Manchale, known as Diganth, is a Kannada cinema actor and former model. His notable performances in Lifu Ishtene and Pancharangi earned him nominations and awards. He received Suvarna Film Awards, Filmfare Awards South, and Romantic Star accolades from the SIIMA Award.

Early Life

On December 28, 1983, in Sagara, Karnataka, Diganth was born to Krishnamurthy and Mallika. He hails from Thirthahalli, in the province of Shimoga. His undergraduate studies in commerce were completed at Tunga Mahavidyalaya Tirthahalli and Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College in Bengaluru. On December 12, 2008, he wed Aindrita Ray.

Career

He first encountered Kannada films in the Kanglish film "SMS 6260" and later in the Kannada film "Miss California," but his breakthrough came with his performance in the movie Mungaru Male.

Later, he appeared in the popular film Gaalipata. Diganth played the lead in a number of films after the success of the film. He rose to prominence in the big league's thanks to the success of his solo hero role in the movie Manasaare. Additionally, it earned him some favourable reviews.

Injury

Diganth sustained a serious neck injury on June 21, 2022, while filming a summer scene at a Goa beach.
