Ganesh

Keezhoote Balakrishna Pillai Ganesh Kumar is a Malayali Indian film and TV actor and politician, now serving as the Member of the Legislative Assembly of the state Kerala, representing the Pathanapuram constituency in Kollam district since 2001. He was Transport Minister from May 2001 to March 2003. He is the son of R. Balakrishna Pillai, former Minister of Kerala.

Political career
A commerce graduate from the Government Arts College, Trivandrum, Ganesh Kumar was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly for the first time in 2001 from Pathanapuram by defeating Prakash Babu of the Communist Party of India and re-elected to the Assembly in the 2006 general election.
