Gayathrie Shankar is a Tamil film actress, who has appeared in leading roles. Her debut film, N. Krishna's Yen Ippadi Mayakkinai remains unreleased, though she made a breakthrough after featuring in the cult comedy Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom.

Personal life

Her family is of Tamil origin. Her grandfather from Trichy worked as army officer. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and she is very close to her mother. Both of her parents work in Bank.

Career

The actress's first release was the psychological thriller 18 Vayasu, but was recognized for her work in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom alongside Vijay Sethupathi.
