Renu Desai is a former model and indian actress. She was born in Pune, Maharashtra, into a Gujarati Family. She married Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan in 2009. They have a son, Akira Nandan (born 2004) and a daughter, Aadhya (born 2010).
Prior to her entry into Telugu films, she was a model and appeared in the music video of Shankar Mahadevan's "Breathless". She starred with her future husband in the films Badri and Johnny and She can speak Telugu fluently.
