Sara Arjun Biography

Sara Arjun is a young Indian starlet who primarily performs in Tamil and Hindi cinema and television shows. Before she was six, Sara had acted in a number of advertisements and in a Hindi short film. She was hired in 2010 to personify the main character in the Tamil drama Deiva Thirumagal by director A. L. Vijay. Since then, she has appeared in numerous Indian films, predominantly in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam. Her performances have received great acclaim, especially for her parts in Vijay's Saivam, Sillu Karupatti, and Deiva Thirumagal.

Personal Life

Raj Arjun and Sanya Arjun welcomed Sara Arjun into the world in Mumbai on June 18, 2005. Suhaan Arjun was her little brother. Raj Arjun, Sara's father, is an actor who has starred in a handful of Hindi-language movies, including Secret Superstar, Thalaivii, Dear Comrade, and Watchman.

Career Life

After being discovered at a shopping centre with her family at the age of four, Sara filmed her first advertisement. Since then, Sara has been in more than 100 commercials for companies including McDonald's. Director Vijay contacted Sara for a commercial when she was just two years old, but he later lost touch with her family. After a trip to Mumbai, he finally reconnected with her family and hired Sara for his sentimental-drama film, Deiva Thirumagal. By contacting their Tamil friend Maheswari for assistance, Sara's father was able to help Sara understand the dialogue for the movie in Tamil. The film was a box office and critical success upon its initial release, and Sara's portrayal of Nila received praise from all critics.

Sara's father reported that she was unaffected by the exposure and that she went back to her normal habit of "asking for her eraser and sharpener" when she came back to her resort suite. She also finished a role in the Amjad Khan-directed film Tomorrow, in which her father also acted; nevertheless, the film was not officially released in theatres.

Later, Sara featured as Misha, the primary protagonist's younger sister, in Kannan Iyer's mysterious Hindi movie Ek Thi Daayan (2013). Sara's performance was praised as being "unbelievably charming," but the movie failed to fare satisfactorily at the box office. She later played the lead in R. Sundarrajan's Chithirayil Nilachoru. Subsequently, Sara embarked on Vijay's Saivam, a family story in which she portrayed Thamizhselvi, a young girl who is the key priority, for her excellent acting and received acclaim for her portrayal, with one writer remarking that "without Sara, who plays Tamil, the picture would never have been nearly as charming and undisputable."
