'Bananya Around The World' Anime Recieves Third Season, Releasing In October

An old, adorable and frankly bizarre anime is going to be receiving its third season this year in October and will be releasing worldwide. Plot Details Of The Anime 'Bananya Around The World'

The anime primarily revolves around the misadventures of Bananya, a cat that seems to be living inside of a banana. Each episode acts a bit like a slice of life show, which explores how Bananya and his friends, who also happen to be cats living inside bananas, spend their time with one another in what can only be described as sweet bite-sized shorts.

The story of the latest season of the anime goes as follows, "Bananya returns! The mysterious cat who lives inside a banana is back for a new adventure when a ball of light appears. After the ball flashes, a new cat named Baby Sweet emerges. The two quickly become friends and set off on a grand adventure to discover new and exciting places around the world. Join the new friends on their journey!"

Cast And Crew Behind The Anime 'Bananya Around The World'

The series' first two seasons 'Bananya' and 'Bananya And The Curious Bunch' were originally directed by Kyo Yatate and produced at Studio Gathering. The anime also usually featured only two voice actors, Yuki Kaji and Ayumu Murase who would voice all the different cats in bananas.

For the third season, it seems the director and the two actors will be returning to produce the show, albeit at a different studio called Studio Lesprit alongside series composer Masahiro Takata and script writer Sei Yoshitsuki.

While no exact release date has been provided, we know that the anime will be available to watch on Crunchyroll from October, 2024 onwards.
