The plot of the new film will follow Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie, who will take on the role of Captain America. He was initially chosen by Steve Rogers at the end of 'Avengers: Endgame' to take up the mantle of Captain America, but chose to instead leave the legacy behind.

The mantle, as well as Captain America's shield, was later on taken up by a former Captain of the United States Army's 75th Rangers Regiment, John Walker, who briefly became 'Captain America'. After the events of the series 'The Falcon And The Winter Soldier', John Walker was stripped of the Captain America title.

Sam Wilson, at the end of it all, finally took on the role of Captain America. The new movie will showcase his adjustment to the new identity, its implications, and the expectations that he has to live up to.

Cast Details Of 'Captain America: Brave New World'

So far, not many details have been revealed about the new movie's cast. We know from the official marvel page that Anthony Mackie will take on the role of Captain America this time, and that he will be joined by Carl Lumbly, Danny Ramirez and Tim Blake Nelson.
