'Dr. Stone' Anime Season 4 Release Announced, Teaser Revealed

Just recently, the official X account for the anime 'Dr. Stone' made a post saying that the fourth and final season of the anime, which will be called 'Dr. Stone - Science Future', will be released in 2025. What's more is that the season will be divided into three parts. The teaser for the last season has also been revealed, showing that the characters in the show plan to aim for the moon, and not just in a metaphorical sense.
The anime has had a sporadic number of episodes for each of its seasons. Season 1 had 24 episodes, whereas season 2 only had 11 episodes. Season 3 was divided into two parts, each containing 11 episodes for a total of 22. That being said, there's still a lot of plot to go through if the anime aims to follow the story of the manga faithfully, which makes sense why the final season of 'Dr. Stone' will be divided into three whole parts.
The Dr. Stone anime initially began streaming on Crunchyroll in 2019 and has released two more seasons since then. Season two of the anime was released in 2021 and season three of the anime was released in 2023. All the first three seasons of 'Dr. Stone' are currently available on Netflix to watch, and have the following description by the platform.
"Several thousand years after a mysterious phenomenon that turns all of humanity to stone, the extraordinarily intelligent, science-driven boy, Senku Ishigami, awakens. Facing a world of stone and the total collapse of civilization, Senku makes up his mind to use science to rebuild the world. Starting with his super strong childhood friend Taiju Oki, who awakened at the same time, they will begin to rebuild civilization from nothing... Depicting two million years of scientific history from the Stone Age to present day, the unprecedented crafting adventure story is about to begin!"
