'Ganbatte Ikimasshoi' is an anime movie that's been teased several times over the past couple months. The first announcement for its release was in March, 2024. Very recently, a 60-second trailer for the anime was released, which shed light on how the visuals and story of the movie will look like.

The background song in this trailer is also the theme song of the film, titled 'Sora-iro no Mizushibuki' or 'Sky Blue-Coloured Splash' by a Japanese Idol group called Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora.

Plot Details Of 'Ganbatte Ikimasshoi'

'Ganbatte Ikimasshoi', or as its rough English translation 'Give It All', is about a young high-school student who's feeling aimless in life due to her encounter with talented individuals that outclassed her. She eventually gets convinced to join the rowing club of her school by a classmate.

The movie will centre itself around the five girls in the rowing club, the personal problems they have to overcome, and how they can achieve anything they set out to do as long as they don't give up!

Cast And Crew Behind 'Ganbatte Ikimasshoi'

The film is based on a Japanese novel written by Yoshiko Shikimura. It will be directed by Yuhei Sakuragi at Studio Moe.

The cast of voice actors includes Sora Amamiya, Miku Ito, Rie Takahashi, Aya Uchida, Suzuko Mimori, Ayana Taketatsu, Takuya Eguchi, Akari Kito, and Ikumi Hasegawa.
