Plot Details Of The Anime 'Ishura'

The story of the anime has been described by different sources as follows, "In a world where the Demon King has died, a host of demigods capable of felling him have inherited the world. A master fencer who can figure out how to take out their opponents with a single glance; a lancer so swift they can break the sound barrier; a wyvern rogue who fights with three legendary weapons at once; an all-powerful wizard who can speak thoughts into being; an angelic assassin who deals instant death. Eager to attain the title of "True Hero," these champions each pursue challenges against formidable foes and spark conflicts among themselves. The battle to determine the mightiest of the mighty begins."

Cast and Crew Behind The Action-Fantasy Anime 'Ishura'

The original light novel that the series is based on was created by writer Keiso and illustrator Kureta. The anime series is going to be directed by Takeo Takahashi and Yuki Ogawa, with the production being in studios Passione and Sanzigen.

The anime will, of course, continue to feature the iconic voice cast of the main characters such as Yuki Kaji voicing Soujiro, Jun Fukuyama voicing Alus, and Soichiro Hoshi as Dakai. The new season will also feature some new characters and with them, some new voice actors as well. Those include Mariya Ise, Miku Ito, and Rikiya Koyama.

When Can I Start Watching The Second Season Of 'Ishura'

While no exact release date has been given yet, season 2 of the anime series 'Ishura' will be released on television from January 2025 onwards.
