The Netflix Anime YouTube channel just recently released a teaser for an upcoming anime series that's based on Scott Westerfeld's popular Young Adult Novel 'Leviathan'. The anime is titled the same as the book and the teaser can be watched below.

The plot of the original book has been described by Goodreads as follows, "Prince Aleksander, would-be heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, is on the run. His own people have turned on him. Cast And Crew Behind The Netflix Anime Series 'Leviathan'

The Netflix anime series 'Leviathan' is going to be directed by Christophe Ferreira, who will work on the anime alongside producers Justin Leach and Taiki Sakurai. The series will also feature music from a variety of artists that include Nobuko Toda who worked on the 'Ghost in the Shell' series, Kazuma Jinnouchi who worked on the Metal Gear Solid and Halo franchises, as well as Joe Hisaishi who has a long history of working with Studio Ghibli.

The series will be produced by both Qubic Pictures and Orange.
