Plot Details Of The Series 'Midnight At The Pera Palace'
The story of the series 'Midnight At The Pera Palace' follows the protagonist Esra, a young journalist who was born and works in Istanbul in the 21st century. She's given the responsibility to write an article on the 130th anniversary of the Pera Palace Hotel, a major historical landmark of the city. When she arrives at the hotel, she meets its manager Ahmet who shows her around and tells her the history of the place.
One such story that catches her ear is that of Perida, a woman who saved the life of the man who would be later known as the founding father of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal.
Little does she know, Esra will need to play out the role of Perida as due to some strange events, she is thrown back in time to 1919, where she needs to foil the assassination plot of the British and save Mustafa Kemal, all while pretending to be the woman Perida who happens to look almost exactly like her.
Cast And Crew Behind The Series 'Midnight At The Pera Palace'
The second season of the series will still feature director Emre Sahin and Nisan Dag, alongside creators Kelly McPherson and Sam Anzel.
While a full cast list hasn't been released yet, we can still expect the actors for some of the main characters to make a grand return for Season 2 of the series. The list of those actors includes Hazal Kaya, Tansu Bicer, James Chalmers, Hakan Dinckol, Selahattin Pasali and more.
