'Mr. Plankton' Korean Netflix Series Releasing Soon, And More Details

The Netflix K-Content channel just recently dropped a teaser trailer for an upcoming romantic comedy series that will be coming to the OTT platform next month. The series is titled 'Mr. Plankton' and the teaser for it can be watched below.

Plot Details Of The K-Drama Series 'Mr. Plankton'

The series has been described by Netflix as follows, "Hae Jo discovers he has brain tumors and little time left to live, while Jae-mi experiences premature menopause when she is expected to give birth to a son. The two are revealed to be ex-lovers, and Hae Jo appears on Jae-mi's wedding day, either to steal her away or help her escape. Here enters Eo Heung, Jae-mi's bewildered and adoring husband-to-be. A drifting soul, a stolen bride, and one last ride. Seriously, what could go wrong?"

Cast And Crew Behind The K-Drama Series 'Mr. Plankton'

The series is directed by Hong Jong-chan, who previously directed the other Korean drama series 'Juvenile Justice'. The series is also written by the writer for 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay', Jo Yong.

The main character cast of the show features Woo Do-hwan as the male love interest with the timer on his life, Hae Jo; and Lee You-mi the unlucky female love interest, Jae-mi. The cast also features actor Oh Jung-se as Jae-mi's husband to be, Eo Heung.

The Korean romantic comedy series 'Mr. Plankton' will be available to watch on Netflix exclusively from November 8th, 2024 onwards.
