Netflix Drops Trailer For 'Uprising', South Korean Historical Film, More Details

Netflix very recently dropped a trailer for an upcoming historical South Korean film set in the Joseon era of the country. The film is titled 'Uprising' and the trailer for it can be watched below.

Plot Details Of The South Korean Historical Film 'Uprising'
The film has been described by Netflix as follows, "Set in the Joseon era, during a tumultuous time in the aftermath of war, Uprising takes viewers on a gripping journey through the lives of two childhood friends turned adversaries: an enslaved person with remarkable martial prowess who struggles to break free from an unjust servitude, and his master and scion of Joseon's most influential military family. The film examines how the chaos of war impacts the personal relationship between two childhood friends who become enemies."
Cast And Crew Behind The South Korean Historical Film 'Uprising'
The film is going to be directed by Kim Sang-man, who will work on it alongside writer and producer Park Chan-wook.
The film also has some notable South Korean actors as part of their cast, which includes the two actors Gang Dong-won and Park Jeong-min playing the two main characters and friends-turned-enemies Cheon-yeonng and Jong-ryeo respectively. Other people that are part of the cast list include Cha Seung-won, Kim Shin-rock, Jin Sun-kyu, and Jung Sung-il.

The South Korean historical action film will be available to watch very soon on Netflix as it will start streaming on the OTT platform from October 11th, 2024 onwards.
