'Officer Black Belt' Korean Action-Comedy Film Netflix Teaser, Release Date, And More

The Official Netflix Korean Content YouTube channel just recently dropped a teaser for an upcoming action-comedy film titled 'Officer Black Belt'.

For those that are interested, or those that are looking to spice up their evening with a bit of action and humour, here are some of the details you should know about this upcoming Korean film.

Plot Details Of 'Officer Black Belt'

The plot of the movie will follow the protagonist Lee Jung-do, an unassuming young man who is actually a very talented martial artist and has experience in taekwondo, judo and even kendo. He's also a man that can't allow injustice to happen in front of his eyes. With the help of a probation officer, Kim Sun-min, Jung-do goes out at night to keep tabs on criminals that are on probation to make sure they're on their best behaviour and that no crimes are happening.

In the teaser itself, we can see that while Lee Jung-do is righteous, he's also very playful, as he only accepts the probation officer's request to fight crime after asking, "Is it fun? That's important to me."

From this, we can glean that while the movie will have a lot of action, there will also be plenty of space for comedy and fun.

Cast And Crew Behind 'Officer Black Belt'

The movie will star actor Kim Woo-bin as the martial artist, Lee Jung-do. It will also star Kim Sung-kyun in the role of the probation officer, Kim Sun-min.

The movie itself will be directed by Jason Kim and will be produced by Climax Studio and Seven O' Six.

The korean action film, Officer Black Belt will be exclusively available to watch on Netflix from September 13th, 2024 onwards.
