'Perfect Family' KDrama Poster Revealed, Release Date, Other Details

The poster for the upcoming thriller Kdrama series 'Perfect Family' was just released on social media. It was posted up on the official KBS Instagram account with the captions that talked about the values of a family, before hinting at something dangerous lurking underneath it all.

Here are all the details you should know about this upcoming thriller series.

What 'Perfect Family' Is About

Perfect Family was initially inspired by a webtoon by the same name, which explored the dynamics of a family that looked almost perfect from the outside.

From the inside, though, one could see that they were extremely dysfunctional. Each family member was twisted in their own way, and it made the reader question whether one could really consider trusting someone, regardless of if they were blood or adopted. The qualities of the webtoon were almost like that of a horror comic, and the drama series may come to follow in its footsteps.

Cast And Crew Behind 'Perfect Family'

The original webtoon was written by Nyangpa and drawn by Joo Eun. The drama itself will be directed by Isao Yukisada, a notable japanese filmmaker.

Kim Byung-chul and Yoon Se-ah will take on the roles of the father and mother respectively, while Park Ju Hyun will play the role of the couple's adopted daughter.

Some of the images revealed for the show also hint at side characters being played by Kim Young-dae, Yoon Sang-hyun, Kim Myung-soo, Choi Ye-bin, and Lee Si-woo.

When Can We Watch 'Perfect Family'

The K-Drama series will release sometime on August 14th. There will be a total of 12 episodes, with 2 being released every week.
