'The Colours Within' is an anime movie that is set to release sometime later next month. Several trailers have been dropped for the film as of late, with the earliest official one being dropped on March 21st, 2024.

Plot Details Of 'The Colours Within'

The trailer of the movie has the following description:

"The story centers on a Totsuko, a high school girl who can see the "colors" of the emotions in people's hearts. She attends a mission school in Nagasaki. In order to keep her friends and family from feeling dark feelings, she worries, reads situations, and even lies to smooth things over. At an antique bookshop in the corner of town, she meets a beautiful woman with an incredibly beautiful color and a music-loving boy trying to put together a band. The story follows these three sensitive people who gather together to play in a band."

It is meant to be a feel-good story with a bit of drama, high school slice of life, and just a few fantastical elements.

Cast And Crew Of 'The Colours Within'

The movie will be directed by Naoko Yamada, who has worked on other projects like K-ON!, The Heike Story, and A Silent Voice. In fact, a lot of the lightning effects and art style may remind viewers of the trailer of 'A Silent Voice'.
