It's important to note that the movie 'The Deliverance' may not have any relation to the 1972 movie 'Deliverance'.

The description of the trailer reads, "After moving into a mysterious house, a struggling mother must face down her demons in order to save her children's souls."

The single mother in question is named Ebony Jackson, who needs to not only fight against the demons trying to possess her children, but also try to prove to Child Protective Services that she is fit to take care of them.

The story is also apparently based on a true story of possession, and seems to take great inspiration from another classic horror movie about demonic possession, 'The Exorcist'. Those that have seen the original film will certainly draw parallels when they watch the trailer and the movie as well.
