The story of 'Transformers One' has been described by the filmmakers and different media outlets as follows, "The untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever."

The film will explore the early lives of the main protagonists and antagonists of the series, those being the autobots and the decepticons, as they lived peaceful lives on their home planet of Cybertron. Not only will there be plenty of humour in the movie, it's also expected to the tragic backstory of these characters that led to all the future conflicts that we've seen in the different Transformers movies and comic books over the years.
