<i>In The Name Of God - Beyond Paradise</i> Preview

The first India-UK co-produced film, In The Name Of God - Beyond Paradise is set against the backdrop of Kerala's tourism. The movie revolves around Linda, who is pursuing her Travel and Tourism Studies in Birmingham University, U.K. Linda moves to Kerala with her boyfriend Krishna Srinivas. Krishna, popularly called Kris, is the son of a South Indian Brahmin, a brilliant Physicist settled in the U.K. His mother is English.His parents divorced when he was just five. Though he was brought up in America,his father ensured that he followed all Indian rituals and cultural values. A tour operator by profession, Kris has a passion for wildlife photography. He loves Linda and plans to get married to her.

Linda is helped by Kris in her research on the impact of Tourism in developing countries. She chooses Kerala, often called as God's Own Country. Kris, who helps Linda doing her research, plans to do some wildlife photography and is on a secret mission known only to him and Linda. Linda begins her work at Kovalam. As Kris leaves for his mission, he introduces Goutham, a local guide to Linda for help. The cultural heritage of the place attracts her the most. However, she gets depressed when she learns that the city is also influenced by drugs, child prostitution and other similar social evils.

Once, during a visit to the beach, she encounters a small boy, Sasi and finds that he is a drug addict. She decides to help him. The drug suppliers of the city are unhappy by her deed of helping drug addicts and decide to attack her. She then seeks help from Mr. Madhava Menon, a Gandhian and Mrs. Jeniffer, called Madamma Amma. She makes new friends, especially Devu, a teenage girl, during her stay at Samaskara, Madamma Amma's home. Meanwhile, Kris is busy with his wildlife photography, when he meets an accident in the forest. The doctor advises him to take rest and he decides to spend the time with Linda. However he finds a terrible change in Linda's behaviour. He is reluctant to take Linda back home. But Linda refuses to stay back, and both fight for the first time. Will Linda continue her stay at the new place? Will Kris succeed in taking her back? Will they get married?
