Kochi
(UNI):
'Conlicts',
a
one-day
film
festival,
will
be
held
here
on
July
six
to
mark
the
'World
Tibet
Day'
and
the
71st
birthday
of
the
Dalai
Lama.
The
festival,
being
organised
by
Friends
of
Tibet,
Design&People
and
Kashi,
will
screen
both
feature
and
documentary
films
on
various
conflicts
at
the
Kashi
Art
CafÉ,
Fort
Kochi.
The
documentaries
to
be
screened
include
'Conflicts:
Tibet',
'Miles
To
Go',
'Naata:
The
Bond',
'Farenheit
9/11',
'She
Write'
and
'The
Basque
Ball:
Skin
Against
The
Stone'.
Feature
film
'Sandstorm'
will
also
be
screened.
Describing
the
start
of
the
Qinghai-Lhasa
rail
link
as
a
''sad
day
for
the
Roof
of
the
World'',
the
organisers
said
they
will
also
hold
a
''Golmud-Lhasa
Railway
Cake
Cutting
Ceremony''
on
July
