Tom Cruises love for Japan has inspired the Japanese to dedicate one day of their year to him. The Japan Memorial Day Association has "awarded" him one day of the year to be named in honour of him. Japan has so far the country most visited by the star. He has spent hors together with his fans in the country. The Last Samurai brought in a whopping 117 million dollars more that it did in the US. The latest Japan gimmick of the star was when he traveled between Osaka and Tokyo in the nations Bullet train service to promote MI:3. Photos of him with atleast a hundred Japanese fans were taken during the trip. To take his love for the country further he had said that he wants to shoots the sequel to The Last Samurai in the country.

In other news that he and his soon-to-be wife Katie Holmes keep making every now and then, he has hired a whole lot of baby-sitters to take care of Suri, their first child so that Katie Holmes can get up to shape for the wedding.
