The Doherty Drug Story...

Rocker Pete Doherty has documented his two-week stint in prison, which is preceding to a community order meted out to him on account of him being in possession of illegal drugs. He has taken notes of his experiences in jail according to which he has claimed that he needs to become a hero for his own sake.

He has written that he has figured out now that there is no way round it. His penning has also led him to write a song on his previous girlfriend supermodel Kate Moss whom incidentally left him because of the very same problem. He put the blame for his condition largely on the celebrity life that he was leading. Doherty has now realized that the pressures that life put on him held him back from moving away from it even when he was making all the effort. He has made it clear that he fully intends on being "drugs free". To top it all, he says that he isn't much of a junkie anyway.
