surpassed
Harry
Potter
and
the
Sorcerer's
Stone

million)
to
grab
the
third
place
in
the
industry
history.
The
movie
that
was
released
in
6,681
screens
in
49
territories
grossed
$11.8
million
increasing
its
international
total
to
$579.1
million
and
$991.9
million
worldwide.
It
is
expected
that
the
movie
would
cross
the
$1
billion
mark
by
Friday.
The
other
two
movies
to
break
the
record
are
1997's
Titanic,
which
grossed
$1.85
billion,
and
2003's
The
Lord
of
the
Rings:
the
Return
of
the
King
which
grossed
$1.12
billion.
