Doherty sues for plastic surgery claims

Actress Shannen Doherty was reduced to tears after seeing the cover of the current issue of Star magazine which declared that she had drastic plastic surgery. The magazine carried the headline: "Shannen Doherty's Extreme Makeover: Has she had drastic plastic surgery?" with her picture with it.

Known for her work as Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills 90210 and as Prue Halliwell in Charmed, the American Actress is planning to sue the magazine. On a talk show, The View she said that she has hired a lawyer to sue the publication.

"I'm actually willing to go so far as to go sit down with whatever plastic surgeon they want to put in front of me who can inspect my face," she said.

She also said, "I'm willing to put as much money behind a lawsuit as humanly possible, just to sort of teach them a lesson."
