Billie Piper meets prostitutes

London (ANI): Actress Billie Piper was so determined to be realistic while playing a prostitute in forthcoming British TV show 'Secret Diary Of A Call Girl' that she decided to meet real-life hookers to get a feel of what the profession was all about. The former Doctor Who star will play the role of a prostitute named Belle de Jour, who writes about her romps on the Internet. The actress revealed the experience she went through while doing the research.

"I met high-class hookers who were very candid," Sun quoted Piper, as saying. "I wanted to know if they get anything out of the sex, if they ever fell in love with the guys. Surprisingly, some did," she added. The real life story is based on anonymous diaries Belle de Jour: The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl and the eight-part series will begin later this month on ITV2.
