Resse calls Britney, Lindsay, Paris bad role models

Washington (ANI): Actress Reese Witherspoon has slammed Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan And Paris Hilton for being bad role models for women. The 'Walk The Line" actress is angry with the "sad and very strange" behavior of the hell-raising stars. "We don't need to keep reading about female celebrities who are out there posing all the time and craving attention and exploiting the sex symbol stereotype," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Witherspoon said that such celebrities were spoiling the work done by women from previous generations who fought against a male-dominated society. "My mother and grandmother fought incredibly hard against a male establishment to become high achievers in their lives," she said. The Oscar winning actress claimed that women should be beauty with brains.“I think women should be able to be sexy and smart and successful - without being silly and aimless," she said.
