Drew
Barrymore
is
all
set
to
star
in
the
film
adaptation
of
self-improvement
book
'He's
Just
Not
That
Into
You',
to
be
directed
by
Ken
Kwapis.
The
32-year-old
will
portray
a
woman
who
is
confused
by
the
dating
scene
in
a
gizmo-obsessed
culture,
where
actual
human
contact
is
minimal.
The
plot
of
the
film
revolves
around
modern-day
relationships
and
how
men
and
women
often
misread
the
intentions
of
the
opposite
sex.
The
book
was
written
by
Greg
Behrendt
and
Liz
Tuccillo,
who
worked
on
'Sex
and
the
City'
as
consultant
and
writer,
respectively.
TV
stars
Kevin
Connolly
and
'Big
Love's'
Margene,
Ginnifer
Goodwin
will
also
join
the
silver
screen
alongside
Barrymore,
Jennifer
Connelly,
Bradley
Cooper
and
Justin
Long
in
the
flick.
Jennifer
Connelly
will
portray
a
women
stuck
in
a
boring
marriage
with
Cooper's
character.
Kevin
Connolly
will
play
a
man
who
is
after
a
woman,
who
is
having
an
affair
with
Cooper.
Goodwin
will
star
as
a
young
woman
who
is
obsessed
with
Kevin
Connolly's
character,
and
tries
setting
up
accidental
meetings
with
him
only
to
run
across
his
friend,
to
be
played
by
Long.
'Never
Been
Kissed'
writers
Abby
Kohn
and
Marc
Silverstein
will
write
the
script
for
the
film,
which
commences
production
in
September.
