Julia Stiles to star in "Cry of the Owl"

Washington (ANI): Julia Stiles has signed on to star in thriller "Cry of the Owl".

Also joining her in the picture are Paddy Considine and Scott Speedman.

Stiles will be playing the role of a woman who falls in love with her stalker in the movie adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's 1963 novel.

The picture will be directed by Jamie Thraves who has also penned the screenplay.

On board as producers are BBC Films and Myriad Pictures' Kirk D'Amico, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Considine will play the man who moves to Stiles' suburban town and begins spying on her. Speedman will play her jilted ex, who complicates matters further when he plots revenge against her.

Principal photography is set to begin Oct. 30 in Toronto.

However before this movie Stiles will be seen in "Gospel Hill". She is also set to co-produce and star in the Sylvia Plath adaptation "The Bell Jar" for Plum Pictures in association with Killer Films.
