Winslet is new face of Lancome

Kate Winslet has been named the new celebrity spokesperson for cosmetics giants Lancome as part of an Internet launch in Paris, France. The 'Titanic' star greeted a crowd of fans in Paris yesterday after she was announced as the new face of the Tresor fragrance.

Winslet was chosen as the successor to actress Isabella Rossellini, who appeared in ads for the fragrance last year. Previous star faces for Lancome include Uma Thurman and movie hunk Clive Owen.
