Katie Holmes gets generous

Katie Holmes treats the cast and crew of her latest film to a feast of delicious snacks every Friday. The Batman Begins star, who is filming Mad Money with Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton in Louisiana, likes to bring calorific treats on set at the end of every week.

A source told People magazine: "It all started the last Friday in April when it got really hot and Katie brought in 300 ice cream cones. The next week she arranged for over 80 pizzas to be flown in from Chicago and baked nearby. It was a lot of pizza. We had vegetarian, sausage, pepperoni. It was good pizza. This week we got cupcakes. They were good, too."

Meanwhile, husband Tom Cruise has been entertaining the cast by getting his and Katie's daughter, one-year-old Suri, to try out her first words on set. A source said: "He introduced her to everyone and told her to say 'Hi'. Everyone was cooing over her. Then she waved 'bye bye' to everyone when Tom and Katie took her home. They all truly could not have looked happier. They were just like any other family."
