Keira Knightley wants to do comedy

Washington (ANI): Pirates Of The Caribbean star Keira Knightley wants to take a break from romantic flicks and try her hand at comedy after being inspired by Will Ferrell farce, Blades Of Glory. The 22-year-old actress, who has been reigning in period dramas till now, has claimed that she hated comedies until she saw the figure-skating film.

"I always say I've no interest in doing a comedy because I don't watch very many," Contactmusic quoted her, as telling the New York Post. However, she added that she was inspired by the movie and wants to try a stint in one such comedy.

"But actually I think I am lying because the other day I saw Blades of Glory and thought it was brilliant," she said. Keira was recently crowned the queen of the big screen at the Variety Club Showbiz Awards.
