Laila Ali to do cookery show

Former champion boxer Muhammad Ali's daughter Laila Ali wants to follow up her stint on reality show 'Dancing with the Stars' by hosting her own cookery programme. The female boxer, who was one of the three finalists in the most recent season of the US TV dance contest, has her sights set on showing off her culinary skills with a healthy food show.

She says, "My show would feature healthy food with fresh ingredients that taste great. My family is from Louisiana, so I do home style food with a healthy twist - anything unnecessary, like butter, I take out of the recipe."

Ali, 29, insists she's been cooking up family treats for years "I taught myself how to cook when I was about 10. One of my favourite dishes is seafood gumbo... Everybody loves my gumbo... I could win a worldwide gumbo contest."
