Washington
(ANI):
Renowned
documentary-maker
Michael
Moore
believes
that
the
reason
his
films
do
better
in
Canada
than
the
US
is
because
Americans
don't
get
his
humour.
Making
an
appearance
at
the
Toronto
International
Film
Festival,
Moore
commended
Canada's
collective
sense
of
humour,
while
promoting
his
latest
project
'Captain
Mike
Across
America'.
"Canadians,
you're
wired
in
a
different
way
than
we
are
humour-wise.
You
understand
and
appreciate
irony
and
satire..." Contactmusic.com
quoted
him,
as
saying.
"Americans,
we
take
things
maybe
a
little
bit
too
literally
and
don't
always
get
it,"
he
added.
Moore
also
described
his
film
"Sicko"
as
"a
comedy
about
45
million
people
with
no
health
care
in
the
richest
country
on
earth."
