Michelle Williams to play female lead in Mammoth

Washington, (ANI): Actress Michelle Williams has signed on to play the lead role in Lukas Moodysson's 'Mammoth." Williams, who won an Oscar-nomination for 'Brokeback Mountain," and actor Gael Garcia Bernal will play a New York couple facing a crisis.

The film is Moodysson's first English-language film, Variety reports. The drama is scheduled to begin shooting in Thailand on Nov. 5 before moving on to the Philippines, Sweden and New York. The film is expected to premiere in Sweden in August next year.
