Paris
Hilton
is
"reflecting
on
her
life
and
how
to
make
the
world
better" while
behind
bars.
The
hotel
heiress's
lawyer,
Richard
A.
Hutton,
visited
her
at
California's
Century
Regional
Detention
Facility
in
Lynwood
yesterday
(04.06.07)
after
her
first
night
in
jail.
As
he
left
the
facility,
Hutton
said:
"Her
attitude
is
-
I'm
going
to
come
in
here,
I'm
going
to
do
my
time,
get
it
over
with,
and
I'm
going
to
show
the
world
who
I
really
am.
"She's
using
this
time
to
reflect
on
her
life,
to
see
what
she
can
do
to
make
the
world
better.
"She's
doing
very
well
under
the
circumstances.
The
staff
here
have
reported
that
she
has
been
gracious,
polite,
and
thankful
for
helping
her.
The
26-year-old
is
in
solitary
confinement
in
a
cell
which
measures
just
12
by
eight
feet.
It
has
a
bunk
bed,
a
toilet,
wash
basin
and
two
windows
-
a
little
one
in
the
door,
and
one
which
overlooks
other
buildings.
Hutton
insists
it
is
the
dangers
facing
Paris
while
in
prison
that
have
forced
the
authorities
to
put
her
in
isolation.
He
said:
"Because
of
who
she
is,
they
had
no
choice
-
and
believe
me,
we
are
more
interested
in
her
safety
more
than
anything
else
-
but
to
place
her
in
administrative
segregation.
"The
one
hour
of
the
day
she's
out,
she
is
allowed
to
take
a
shower
or
talk
on
the
phone.
"But
my
client's
reaction
to
this
has
been
fantastic.
I'm
very,
very
proud
of
her."
Inside
sources
claim
Paris
is
wearing
a
short-sleeved,
orange
jumpsuit.
Yesterday
(04.06.07)
she
allegedly
still
had
on
the
make-up
she
was
wearing
the
night
before
at
the
MTV
Movie
Awards.
Although
against
prison
regulations
the
socialite
has
been
allowed
to
keep
her
hair
extensions
as
staff
make
exceptions
for
extensions
that
are
"tightly
wound",
as
hers
are.
According
to
gossip
website
TMZ.com
Paris
is
"not
happy,
but
resigned
to
getting
it
done.
She's
not
teary,
just
very
quiet".
