Washington (ANI): Socialite Paris Hilton has claimed that her co prison inmates in Lynnwood County Jail couldn"t believe that she was in the slammer for driving on a suspended license. In an interview to Elle Magazine that will hit stands this October; the hotel heiress said that the jail mates thought that the judge who sentenced her to prison term was insane. The 26-year-old said that they told her it was 'ridiculous" that she was in the prison along with people who have been charged for murder.

"We were all in cells, and I would talk to them in passing and they'd say, 'I love you, God bless you, it's ridiculous you're in here. I'm in here for murder, what the hell is going on?' People thought the judge was totally out of order...You know, I was only in there for a suspended license." E! Online quoted her, as saying. Hilton served 23 days in prison for violating terms of probation by driving on a suspended license.
