"The Simple Life" to be axed

The Simple Life' will not have another season, thanks to Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie's overplayed real life drama. On Monday July 30, E! Networks announced that 'The Simple Life Goes to Camp' will mark the end of the hit reality series.

"The Simple Life has been a wonderful addition to the E! Schedule for two years and we will always be grateful to Paris and Nicole for their hard work and graciousness," E! said in a statement.

Hilton's much discussed probationary violation case reached its climax after the hotel heiress landed up in jail for 23 days.

Richie, who has still not opened up about her pregnancy, is the next one to hit headlines after being sentenced to four days in prison for a December 2006 Drink driving case.
